1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Standard Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges are calculated based on when we receive your written cancellation request:

Note: Cancellation charges may differ during peak seasons and long-weekend travel dates. Special packages and customized itineraries may also have different charges.
1.2 How to Cancel Your Booking
To cancel your booking:
- Send a written cancellation request to contact@sstoursandtravelsindia.com
- Include your booking ID, registered name, and travel package details
- State the reason for cancellation
- Cancellation is only considered from the date we receive your email
- You will receive a written confirmation within 48 hours
Reminder: Cancellations are accepted only through email. Phone/WhatsApp cancellations are not valid.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Refund Processing Time
- Refund eligibility will be checked within 3-5 working days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 15-20 working days
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
- Bank/UPI processing may take an additional 5-7 days
2.2 Non-Refundable Charges
- Visa processing fees
- Travel insurance premiums
- Non-refundable flight/train tickets
- Non-refundable hotel bookings
- Adventure activity fees
- Entry fees and permits already purchased
- Payment gateway and bank charges
2.3 Partial Refunds
- Applicable when only part of the itinerary is cancelled
- Only the refundable portion of services will be considered
- Administrative charges may be deducted
3. Modifications & Rescheduling
3.1 Modification Charges
- 30+ days before travel: ₹2,000 per person + price difference
- 15-29 days: ₹5,000 per person + price difference
- Less than 15 days: Subject to availability; cancellation fees may apply
3.2 Date Change Policy
- Subject to availability of hotels/transport
- Price difference for new dates will apply
- Rescheduling allowed only up to 15 days before travel
Peak-season travel (April-June, October, December-January) may have higher date-change charges.
4. Cancellation by sstoursandtravelsindia
4.1 When We May Cancel
- Natural disasters or extreme weather
- Political unrest or government restrictions
- Minimum group size not met
- Operational or safety reasons
- Supplier cancellations
4.2 Refund in Case of Company Cancellation
- Full refund of the amount paid
- Option to shift to another tour/date
- Credit voucher valid for 12 months
We notify customers immediately in case of cancellations initiated by us.
5. Force Majeure
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Flight cancellations or transportation strikes
- Government restrictions
Refunds in such cases are processed after deducting non-recoverable expenses.
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Medical Emergencies
- Valid medical certificate required
- Refund depends on vendor policies
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended
6.2 Visa Rejection (For International Trips)
- Official rejection letter required
- 15% cancellation + non-recoverable charges
- Visa fees are non-refundable
6.3 No-Show Policy
- No-shows receive no refund
- 100% of booking value will be forfeited
7. Payment & Refund Method
7.1 Accepted Payments
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm)
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Net Banking
- Bank Transfer
7.2 Refund Method
- Refunds go to the original payment mode
- Cash payments refunded via NEFT
- Payment gateway fees are non-refundable
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to avoid financial loss.
9. Additional Terms
9.1 Booking Confirmation
- 50% advance required
- Full payment required 15 days before travel
9.2 Group Bookings
- Different cancellation rules apply for 10+ people

- Custom itineraries may have stricter cancellation conditions
